Grey Partridges
Grey partridges (lat. Perdix perdix) from the breeding farm in Klon are a species native to the territory of Poland and northeastern Europe. Just like pheasants, partridges bred in Klon are valued for their excellent traits. Raised in spacious aviaries grown over with lush greenery and fed high-quality natural feed, they are feral and show a strong ability to acclimate to the natural environment.
The Klon breeding farm maintains its own breeding flock kept in reproductive pairs, where birds are naturally paired and then selected for the most desirable environmental characteristics. This results in top-quality hatching eggs with a very high hatch rate. These eggs serve as the foundation for achieving increasingly better breeding results.

Both the female and the male show a strong maternal instinct, and later also a flocking instinct. Releases should be done in small groups, no more than 10 to 20 birds per square kilometer.
Breeding of our partrdiges
Chicks are strong and resistant to bacterial and viral diseases. The first and most critical days of brooding proceed calmly. They show a strong tendency to scratch in search of food, so feeders that prevent feed scattering should be used. During the first two weeks of life, shallow and small drinkers should be used to prevent chicks from getting wet.
